Description

Extension

https://www.raycast.com/thomas/google-calendar

Raycast Version

1.93.1

macOS Version

No response

Description

  • I'm in Bangkok where the current time is 17:44 (GMT+7)
  • I want to create a calendar event tomorrow for 3 PM my time
  • I ask Google Calendar to do so via the AI Extension
  • It creates a calendar event for 8 AM Bangkok time instead, which is oddly 7 hours before the correct time, as if it was trying to book the time for 8 AM GMT+0 (which would be the correct time, but instead book it for 8 AM GMT+7
  • When I ask it what is the current time in Bangkok, it also says that it's 10:44 AM

Steps To Reproduce

  1. In AI Chat "@google-calendar create an event for 3pm tomorrow bangkok time. let me know what hte current time is"
  2. Observe the output

Current Behaviour

  • Created an event 7 hours earlier than it should be. This is equal to the time difference between Bangkok (GMT+7) and UTC
  • Also give the wrong current time, off by the same number of hours

Expected Behaviour

  • Correctly identify and book events using the actual Bangkok time/timezone
