We are not really breaking anything, but setting up venv for this would probably be too much hassle.
The new MacOS runners are based on arm64, for which Qt5 doesn't have binary releases. If there's enough interest, we could compile Qt5 ourselves, but it's unknown whether it would even compile on an arm64 Mac.
