@ned-deily: I added a Misc/NEWS.d/ entry. Sorry, I don't recall if you prefer Misc/NEWS or Misc/NEWS.d. Is this PR too late for Python 3.3.7? |

Modules/zlib/ is only used on Windows. I don't expect that anyone will try to build Python 3.3 on Windows, since this version is now very old. We don't provide Windows binaries for Python 3.3 anymore. So I abandon my PR. |
