Travis CI has recently announced changes to their billing plan. Open source projects were given 10000 credits (1000 linux build minutes) and it seems this was a one-time thing. We have just run out of credits and will thus no longer be able to to CI builds.

Credits for open-source repositories are now granted on a case-by-case basis. I will contact the travis team to see if we can get an allotment of credits for polybar, to at least be able to run CI jobs for the next few weeks. I will also ask if it is possible to get monthly credits.

Depending on whether we need to continuously request credits whenever we run out, it might be a good idea to migrate to github actions for CI since they offer unlimited minutes for public repos.
