What's the use case here? StandardMaterial shader generation only adds defines it needs. If the user overrides shaders chunks, they can provide their own defines.

I want to develop a universal material that works correctly both with instancing enabled and without it. At the same time, in the pixel shader I need a reliable way to determine whether instancing is used for the current object.
