To use it, download the file and open with Ross Dashboard software. An accompanying Designer2 file is provided. At the moment functionality of this interface is dependant on a controller with HTTP enabled and authentication disabled. It should be reasonably simple to add authentication support if needed.
This file is designed to be customisable to your needs. You can simply delete any controls you don't want, and rearrange the UI as desired. The layout has been tested on a 2K display and may require some adjustment for other display sizes.
The example uses the Designer HTTP API to enable the following functions:
Triggers can be sent to Designer to initiate lighting control events. You can rearrange or modify the trigger buttons as needed for your system.
Overrides allow you to assert specific control of a group of fixtures within Designer. You can select a group from the dropdown, and a colour and intensity to override to.
Intensity masters allow you to overall decrease the intensity output from a fixture group. These are exposed as 6 sliders; again by editing the file you can add/remove sliders or pick specific groups of interest.
The Status pane shows the status of the controller - whether it is online, the IP address, project number and serial number.
