You can get very far on single-node. ParadeDB, since it doesn't require denormalizing, can do search over individual tables and JOINs the result. As such, even clusters that are 100s of TBs can be supported already. We recently added support for parallelized queries on a single node, which also improve performance significantly. If true distributed search is a key requirement for you, I'd love to chat and learn more about your needs. |

Thank you for making this! We (the core ParadeDB team) are very interested in official ORM support backed by ParadeDB + the community starting this January 2026. We're planning to start implementing Django support in the coming weeks. We'll review your project and see if we can collaborate on it, instead of re-implement from scratch. I'd recommend joining our community Slack so that we can communicate more easily. |
