Rationale.

Over the past few years, openstack-exporter has gained significant popularity and there is a clear demand to enhance the existing code, improve reliability and support more platforms. As enterprise users with critical needs join our community, it has become crucial to address these issues effectively.

However, due to increasing personal commitments and the need to cover expenses, my availability to dedicate time to this project has diminished. I am fully aware of the importance of this project to many enterprise users and individuals for their metrics gathering needs.

I am committing to dedicate 5-8 working hours per week (roughly 32 hours per month) to the following activities:

1. Triage and prioritise bugs, focusing on backward compatibility and overall code reliability.
2. Review PR(s) and maintain the list of issues.
3. Develop a clear roadmap aligned with OpenStack release cadence, ensuring backward compatibility is maintained as a key priority.
4. Extend support for existing and new OpenStack services.
5. Improve code reliability by increasing unit test coverage and expanding the integration testing matrix.
6. Support additional platforms, such as s390 and aarch64, fully.
7. Grow the community on IRC and Discord, making myself available for questions and concerns.
8. Establish a bi-weekly community meeting!
