Use case:

Identity can be 'turned' on or off via configuration. OpenSearch log shows identity has been loaded.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Should be used at the top of node start
• Evaulate functionality from the prototype lib to include.
  • Only interfaces code should be included in the library, unless providing universally shared functionality
• Evaulate functionality from the prototype module to include.
  • Minimal functionality should be exposed. Additional features should be expanded into separate pull requests to focus review process as much as possible
