openclaw still appending "-preview" to "gemini-3.1-flash-lite" in v2026.5.22

Steps to reproduce

  1. Change all references in openclaw.json, from google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview to google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite

  2. I went into one of my discord channels and did a /model google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite, and it changes the model to google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview.

Expected behavior

Should use google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite

Actual behavior

uses google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview

Operating system

Raspberry Pi OS (Bookworm) on kernel 6.12.87, aarch64
