Bug type
Behavior bug (incorrect output/state without crash)
Beta release blocker
No
Summary
Upgrading from 4.23 to 5.2, a behavior I found on agents is that the agents somehow focused more on previous messages rather than latest user message.
Steps to reproduce
- Start with 4.23 and try to have a session with the agent with specific questions like learning a subject like Math and have it quiz on you
- Reset the session and then upgrade to 5.2
- Now try talking to it for a while, eventually it prioritized previous user messages than the current model + user messages.
Expected behavior
Conversations should happen naturally, prioritizing latest user messages and having previous messages as context.
Actual behavior
It somehow prioritized previous messages as more important than current user messages.
