Summary

In OpenClaw 2006.5.2, the Control UI/webchat sometimes only showed the latest message in a chat, while older messages were not visible in the UI.

Notes

• The session history still existed on the backend.
• This appeared to be a UI/rendering issue rather than data loss.
• Downgrading from 2006.5.2 fixed the problem.

Environment

• OpenClaw version: 2006.5.2
• Surface: Control UI / webchat

Repro

Not fully isolated yet, but it occurred during normal chat use in the Control UI.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open OpenClaw 2006.5.2 in Control UI/webchat.
2. Use the chat normally.
3. Intermittently, the conversation view may show only the latest message while older messages remain missing from the UI.
   Downgrade to an earlier version and observe the issue no longer reproducing.

Expected behavior

Full chat history should render in the conversation view.

Actual behavior

Only the most recent message appeared visible in the chat UI.
