We changed the limit to 10 open PRs per author. If someone goes over 10, the r: too-many-prs label gets added and the PR is auto‑closed by our automation. This is a hard limit.
We’ve been hit with waves of spammy PRs: AI slop posted across dozens of PRs, duplicates of the same change, and low‑effort noise that burns reviewer time. The 10‑PR cap keeps the queue readable and helps real fixes get attention.
If you think you need to go past 10 for a real, coordinated change set, join the #clawtributors channel in Discord and talk with maintainers first.
