Regression (worked before, now fails)

Summary

TUI doesn't display assistant messages until restart

Description:

• macOS Terminal
• OpenClaw 2026.3.2
• Gateway running normally

Steps:

1. Run openclaw tui
2. Send a message
3. Assistant replies but message is not visible on screen
4. Must Ctrl+C exit and restart TUI to see the reply

Expected: Messages should appear immediately
Actual: Messages only visible after restarting TUI
