It's currently difficult to navigate and edit documents in Google Docs.
It's very easy to navigate in brows mode if the document is marked up, and when you edit in google docs, it's almost as easy as editing in Word. But combining the brows mode navigation and editor cursor you have in focus mode, they don't sink.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would love to write my document, then to edit it and reread it, I would like to be able to navigate to the place I want to edit in brows mode, then hit enter and be able to edit what I was reading in brows mode in focus mode.
Describe alternatives you've considered
It's possible to use the Ctrl+Alt+N Ctrl+Alt+H and other ctrl+alt+N key commands to navigate using Google Docs, but I personally have NVDA starting on ctrl+alt+N and another key shortcut for ctrl+alt+h.
Currently I find it easier to edit in Microsoft Word, do most of my writing there, then select all and paste into Google Docs. There are quite a few problems with this, mostly that comments don't work too well when doing that, it's hard to navigate when other people are editing, and if edits are made in Google Docs, copying from Docs to Word doesn't work. Bullets from Word don't transfer to Google Docs either.
Additional context
GSuite has between 3-7 million businesses using it and over 70 million students and educators using it.
and I have personally used GSuite for business and Education in every single school and business I've been a part of since it came out.
It is painful currently to use GSuite for editing documents, and to make the experience closer to Word, this is one of the few things still left to do.
