Steps to reproduce:
- Open Notepad++.
- Write "Test".
- Press CRTL+A.
- Press Home to move the cursor to the beginning of the file.
- Press CTRL+A again.
- Move the cursor between the "T" and the "e".
- Press CTRL+A a third time.
Actual behaviour:
When the cursor is located on the first character in the very first line of a file, NVDA doesn't recognize that text was selected. There is no speech and braille output. But if you move the cursor to the second character in the first line, everything works fine.
Note that Notepad++ correctly selects all the text, but only the NVDA feedback is inconsistance here.
Expected behaviour:
NVDA should recognize selecting all when the cursor is located at the beginning of a file.
System configuration:
NVDA installed/portable:
Installed
NVDA version:

Other questions:
Does the issue still occur after restarting your PC?
Yes.
Have you tried any other versions of NVDA?
Same result with 2015.3
