NVDA does not switch languages when reading text in Wordpad. I did not notice this was a feature of Wordpad until very recently when I found out JAWS 18 does do this.

You can generate a file with multiple languages in Wordpad by typing with different keyboard layouts, but also some programs like ABBYY FineReader 12 generate properly formatted RTF's with tagged languages. Here's A simple one-liner example RTF which I can't attach to the ticket directly.
