Steps to reproduce:

1. Open text editor.
2. Press ctrl+space switch to native input.
3. Press shift
   speech: Alpha numeric input
   braille: nothing
   expected: Alpha numeric input
4. Press shift again
   speech: Native input
   braille: nothing
   expected: Native input
