I will use the example of Bookshare.org and will upload a log file with keyboard input/output enabled so that you can see what is happening.

1. I open the bookshare.org site.
2. I move focus to the top line which is a link titled "skip to main content."
3. I press the letter E to move into the search edit box.
4. Focus seems to move into the edit box as I hear NVDA reading the search prompt. However, sometimes it will immediately read "skip to main content" and I am back on the first line.
   This does not happen all of the time.
   It seems to happen more often if I press a key to move focus while NVDA is still speaking the current line or control.
