In programs such as Winedt (used for LaTeX documents) and CSE HTML Validator, NVDA reports all controls and objects well. However, when making selection, it does not give feedback as it does in Notepad++,Notepad, WordPad or Microsoft Word. This also makes it difficult to read continuously in Winedt, although reading one line at a time does work. Just wonder whether it is possible to reclass a window in NVDA as JAWS does? If it were possible, could it be possible that one could just reclass the WinEdt interface to appear as a Notepad window? I tried looking this information in the developer guide but could not find it. I would be pleased since WinEdt is what I primarily use the whole day for all my editing needs, so if NVDA could report selections and allow continuous reading, I may as well use it for good. By the way, I contacted the developers of WinEdt and was informed that other screen-readers could work well in their window. Thanks once again for this great screen-reader.
