In the current situation, symbol pronunciation is always handled by NVDA. For example, when i enter the symbol '.', NVDA sends 'dot' to synthesizer rather than '.' and allowing the synthesizer to decide how to pronounce the word. Could an option be added to let the synthesizer take care of the symbol pronunciation? This could come in handy when switching languages, The '.' is pronounced as 'dot' in English and as 'punt' in Dutch. However, when NVDA is set to English and the voice is Dutch, all the symbols are pronounced in the NVDA language instead of the voice language.'
