After updating to a new NVDA snapshot, it does not show the synthesizer dialog when accessed either from the NVDA menu or by pressing the key combination control+NVDA+s. Instead, nothing happens, and if you try to bring up the dialog again, you will see a mesage explaining that an NVDA dialog is already open. However, there is no way to close this dialog, so you have to restart NVDA, then you can access the dialog with either the key combination or from the NVDA menu.
