Steps to reproduce
Ensure that Microsoft Word (2007 here) is configured to auto-numbering and auto-bulleting (this is the default setting).
Type 1. then a space bar and then Enter.
MS Word automatically inserts 2. when Enter is pressed but NVDA does not automatically announce it.
