Hi,
It seems there's a regression with one of the merged tickets when applying master snapshot for July 7, 2014: NvDA cannot locate status bars in Office 2010.
STR:
- Prepare two snapshop launchers: either of: two masters, one for July 7th and an earlier, or current next and an earlier master snapshot.
- For each snapshot, open various Office applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel. Once the programs are opened, press NVDA+End (desktop layout) to attempt to read status bar text.
Expected: NVDA reads status bar text such as number of unread messages in Outlook, cell information for Excel and so on. When this is done, NVDA announces "status bar" followed by the text of the status bar.
Actual: in later master snapshots or in current next snapshot, NVDA does not announce the correct status bar text, nor there is indication that there is a status bar.
I believe this regression might be related to a ticket on focus issues with some IAccessible objects.
Thanks.
