Since one of the last next snapshots (I think from the one from the 22nd of January), I've noticed that there is a delay between the time I point the mouse cursor at an object and the time when NVDA reports that pointed object. If I use an older next snapshot (eg. the one from the 17th of January), there is no such delay. The delay doesn't occur with the stable 2013.3 as well - only with the last few snapshots.
Steps to reproduce it:
Load NVDA 2013.3 or one of the older next snapshots (eg. the one from the 17th of January).
If not enabled, enable the mouse tracking feature.
Point the mouse cursor at an object on the screen. NVDA should report it immediately, and it does.
Then unload NVDA 2013.3 or the older next snapshot and load the latest next snapshot.
Enable the "mouse tracking", if it is not enabled.
Point the mouse cursor at an object on the screen. NVDA should report it immediately, but it does not - there is a noticeable delay. Blocking Reduce spinning in NVDA core and watchdog #3801
