If NVDA could beep instead of saying the word link for hyperlinks, this would save some time as you read documents. Perhaps some other kinds of things would also work for this idea. Maybe progressively higher tones for headings 1 through 6. The feature could be turned off and on by the user. The idea is inspired because I like that NVDA can emit a short tone for upper case letters.
If the heading beeping were implemented, it might need to be better thought out than I have done, because if a header tag contains a hyperlink, NVDA would need to communicate clearly that both were present.
