Brief summary
When I disable all follow modes, I expect the view to no longer follow anything and remain freezed, so that I can
- interract with speech/braille feedback while keeping an eye on something, e.g. Excel total cell
- keep an untagged scanned document (e.g. PDF music sheet) fix to read it visually while I write useful information (e.g. guitar chords) for myself in a more accessible document, e.g. text file.
Steps to reproduce
- Launch magnifier
- Assign a gesture to Toggle all follow modes for the magnifier, e.g.
NVDA+shift+A.
- Either with mouse or with paning commands (
NVDA+alt+arrows), center the zone of interest to be seen, e.g. inaccessible image.
- Toggle all follow modes off
- Open Notepad and write something in it
Actual behavior
The view follows the system cursor
Expected behavior
Given I have disabled all follow modes, I expect the view not to no longer track anything so it should remain freezed.
The solution is probably to add a system caret follow mode.
