NVDA 2026.1 introduces on-device image descriptions triggered by
NVDA + Windows + , (comma).
The current shortcut is ergonomically awkward: the comma key is on the opposite side of the keyboard from the Windows key, and many laptops lack a right-hand Windows key, forcing users to perform a two-hand contortion or release the left Windows key early.
