Brief summary
When enabling AI Image Descriptions, no progress dialog is shown for model downloading
Steps to reproduce
- Go to NVDA's settings > AI Image Descriptions
- Enable the
Enable image captioner checkbox and press OK
- When asked to install models, choose "Yes"
Actual behavior
No progress dialog is shown. Progress of the download is therefore unknown. There is no indication of a download in the background
Expected behavior
Show a progress dialog, or at least make it possible to notice that a background download is in progress
