Steps to reproduce:
- Have NVDA 2025.1 or later and ETI Eloquence installed.
- Select SAPI5 Eloquence as the speech engine in NVDA.
- Restart NVDA or reboot the computer.
Actual behavior:
NVDA switches to Windows OneCore voices after a restart or reboot. The synthesizer has to be manually changed back to SAPI5 Eloquence in the settings.
Expected behavior:
NVDA should stay on the selected SAPI5 Eloquence voice after a restart or reboot.

Does the issue still occur after you run the COM Registration Fixing Tool in NVDA's tools menu?
I normally use sapi5 speech engine and in particular i use code factory ETI Eloquence, and when i need to restart nvda and or reboot the computer it switches to windows one core voices engine. I would have to go to settings to put it back.
