Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes. When a window is maximized (either by clicking the maximize button or pressing Windows+UpArrow), NVDA gives no speech or sound feedback. This makes it difficult for totally blind users to know whether the window has actually been maximized.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like NVDA to provide a short speech announcement (e.g., "Maximized") or a sound indication (audio cue) whenever a window is maximized.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I could use Alt + Space bar, then x to maximize a window, but again no feedback.
Additional context
This feature would be especially helpful for totally blind users who rely on NVDA to get real-time feedback on interface changes. Other major screen readers do give feedback with the event.
