I'm not sure if this problem affects other languages...

Steps to reproduce:

1. From voices settings switch to eSpeak-ng synthesizer.
2. Select Italian language.
3. try writing and reading the single number 0 in any text field: e.g. in notePad digits the number 0 and press up or down arrow.

Actual behavior:

the following error occurs and speech synthesis stops:
