As I'm unsure whether this is a Vs Code or an NVDA-specific problem, I've also reported it in microsoft/vscode#118187
Steps to reproduce:
- Copy the contents of crash.txt into a new document in Vs Code
- With NVDA running, press ctrl+end to go to the bottom, and press up arrow to read upwards.
Actual behavior:
NVDA reads some data that belongs to lines further up, I suspect this is due to an underlying chromium bug. But this is not the main focus of this issue.
More critically, it causes Vs Code to hang and NVDA to also hang as well. The only way to recover is to force kill Vs Code, which could be difficult if NVDA hangs as well.
Expected behavior:
NVDA reads the line without crashing.
