Problem

When running corepack use pnpm without specifying a version, Corepack attempts to install a development build, pnpm@11.0.0-dev.1005 which is faulty-ish? and results in a MODULE_NOT_FOUND error.

I think corepack is incorrectly selecting this unstable dev tag as the latest version when no version is provided?

I expected corepack to select and install the latest stable version by default, rather than an unstable development build.

Node.js Version: node:20-alpine

Corepack Version: 0.34.4

OS: Alpine Linux
