Spectral normalization goes a long way to making the L1BQC spectral filter robust over an hour or more, but significant adjustment to sigma/window parameters would still be required for full-day files to achieve equivalent outlier rejection as with hourly files. To remedy this discrepancy, the spectral filter could be run on consecutive hours of the longer file.
