Full-stack engineer based in Málaga, Spain. I build production web apps and AI systems — currently at ComplexChaos, a California-based AI startup, where I work on conversational AI pipelines, voice agent integrations and the backend services that hold them together.

Before that I spent two years at The Knot Worldwide working on The Bump — a parenting community platform with millions of monthly users — and a few years freelancing on platform rebuilds and architecture work for small companies.

• TypeScript / Node.js as my daily driver — Fastify on the backend, Next.js on the frontend, PostgreSQL underneath
• AI / LLM stack — LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, Retell AI for voice agents
• AWS infrastructure (Lambda, ECS, RDS, SES) provisioned with SST or plain IaC
• Hexagonal Architecture, OpenAPI-first APIs, typed contracts (Zod / TypeBox / Orval) on every project
• Picking up Go and Rust on the side, mostly because curiosity wouldn't let me sleep

I have a 3-year discipline of OpenAPI-first API design and a stubborn opinion that observability (Pino, Sentry, structured logs) belongs in v0, not v3.

I contribute upstream to Payload CMS — bug fixes from running it in production at scale. I also publish notes and small tools as I go; this profile will fill out as I open-source more of the things I build privately.

A few things in progress, in various stages of "ready to show":

• PropTech tooling for short-term rental operators — automation around booking flows, guest communication and dynamic pricing. Personal project that's slowly becoming opinionated about the domain.
• Claude Code skills & agents — I use Claude Code daily and have built custom skills, plugins and MCP integrations to reshape how I work; I plan to open-source the ones that are general enough to be useful.
• AI agent experiments — small, focused LangGraph examples that show one technique each (state machines, structured output, tool calling), the way I wish more AI repos were written.
