Hi there👋

I'm Nabila Siregar, a Computational Scientist from the University of Amsterdam. My studies were focused on Machine Learning, Mathematical Modeling and Simulation using High-Performance Computing.

🚀 Some interesting projects

  • Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning: Developed a computational framework where artificial agents need to coordinate to solve a task. Here, I modified the algorithm from a research paper, created synthetic datasets, trained and fine-tuned the models on GPU.
  • Machine Learning & Causal Network Analysis We combined machine learning with causal modeling to identify biomarkers and pathways linking depression and cardiovascular disease over time.
  • Hotel Recommender Systems: Ranks hotel to a user search on the likeliness that it will be booked using XGBoost
  • Agent-Based Modeling: How number of cop agents affecting the number of civilian agents committing crimes (we look at changes on their risk aversion and trading skill profiles)

💻 Programming Languages (used in projects I worked on)
