Ive merged these changes locally into main and build the app. Ive installed it on my nvidia shield. Ive also added a toast message into the toggleKeyBoard method. However, the onscreen keyboard doesent show. If I install my app on my phone and use the 3 finger tab gesture, it works. I don't know why it won't open when using a gamepad. Also, I found that there where some keyCode/Scancode issues with my Xbox controller on Nvidia shield. The Start Button is interpreted as a Back Button press. Ive also tried and put the toggleKeyBoard call inside the context.pendingExit check. Again, the toast message shows, but the onscreen keyboard doesent. Any help is highly appreciated. GeForce Now's implementation could be used as an inspiration. Rather than mapping keyboard to a separate button, it shows an on screen menu when Start is held with options to show keyboard, stop streaming etc. Very handy imo. |

Unfortunately moonlight-android has not had an update for a year, just like moonlight-qt, you should rather propose this PR in this fork which is updated very often: https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/moonlight-android |
A new functionality has been added that allows to display the keyboard by holding the "select" button. See Pop up virtual keyboard on Android TV with controller.
The second commit allows to move cursor on the keyboard by dpad (TV control or controller). If we don't apply this commit the keyboard won't have focus and we won't be able to move the cursor.
