docker run truncates stdout when output is large #49655

Description

Description

docker run loses parts of the stdout. This happens especially for very large lines. The last part of the data is missing. The tricky part of this is, that it's not always reproducible. I've managed to reproduce it on at least two different machines operating different versions of docker, but unfortunately it's not always reproducible.

Reproduce

  1. docker run --rm busybox sh -c 'for i in $(seq 1 100000000); do echo -n "$i|"; done; echo "END"'
  2. the end of the output will not contain the string "END" and some of the last values are missing.

Expected behavior

The whole output of the command running in the container is piped to the outside.
