Currently the ATT&CK Website notes the data support as follows (in CUSTOMIZING.md):
The MITRE ATT&CK Website® is designed support an evolving knowledge base. The content seen on the site is generated from data in STIX2.0 JSON format.
As of version 3.2 this repo does officially support STIX 2.1, and it should be mentioned explicitly here that that version is supported.
