I could add sse2neon as a submodule for a cleaner git history of the file. Let me know if this is preferred. See above for an example of what that looks like within a repo.

Please remove all references to Komodo as a target and replace with Verus. Other than that, I would agree with Asher's comment on submodule vs subtree. I can pull as is, but if we change to sub-tree, that would also be better.
