Unable to expand PRs whose branch contains a # character #1059

To reproduce

  1. Checkout a branch with a name like some-issue-fix#1234
  2. Make and commit some changes
  3. Create a PR
  4. Try to expand the PR in the "Created by me" section of the UI
  5. Watch that nothing happens.

This is an issue for people who use this branch format to track which issue a particular branch is addressing.
