Steps to Reproduce:

1. Run ./scripts/code-server.sh --without-connection-token
2. Open vscode in the browser wait it loads completely
3. Open dev tools and set network throttling to slow connection
4. Open terminal, press ctrl + f to show search input
5. Type many characters fast
6. 🐛 see results from old search are always highlighted even after new searches or hiding search input
