This, by itself, is not a goal. Avoiding dependencies provides advantages in some scenarios, and disadvantages in others. This will just trigger upgrade notices and cause a cascade of other work that myself and others in the ecosystem need to do. Closing. |

The idea with this change it is to avoid dependencies.
