Description of the problem or steps to reproduce

The CLI file manager called GNU Midnight Commander (install with sudo apt install mc, then run with mc) has a really convenient Ctrl+o shortcut which toggles back and forth between the main terminal and the mc file manger. Please test it to see what I'm talking about.

I'd really like to see the same thing in micro, ideally which would work well with mc, so that pressing Ctrl+o repeatedly would cycle through terminal-->mc-->micro-->back to terminal, etc., repeatedly.

The minimum request though is a shortcut key which toggles just between micro and the main terminal, just like mc can do.
