[Feature Request]: ability to disable MQTT from the phone without reading the phone setting first #5800

Feature or improvement you want

ability to disable the MQTT proxying from the phone without going through the read-change-write-readback cycle on the device.

Why should this be added?

when a device is set to the root topic, the bluetooth link and the MCU can become saturated with the MQTT traffic, and become less-than-responsive to the phone requests. Allowing the phone (which is the proxy for the MQTT traffic on NRF devices) to cut the firehose first would make recovery easier.
