This flake provides a package that generates a wallpaper featuring the Nix logo, which can be customised by overriding that package. The following properties can be overridden:

width

the width (in pixels) of the generated wallpaper (defaults to 3840)

height

the height (in pixels) of the generated wallpaper (defaults to 2160)

logoSize

the size of the flake logo, expressed as a percentage of the height of the wallpaper (defaults to 44.25)

backgroundColor

the color of the background, expressed as a 6 or 8-digit hexadecimal number, where the last 2 digits optionally specify the opacity (e.g. #7ebae4 or #6b34ab66)

logoColors

the colors used in the logo. This should be an attrSet containing keys color[0-5] where color0 refers to the lambda with a leg at the 12 o’clock position and the numbering continues clockwise. Keys can be omitted. Colors should be like in backgroundColor.

By default, the official logo colors with a white background are used.

To generate a wallpaper with the gruvbox-dark preset:

nix build --impure --expr '(builtins.getFlake "github:lunik1/nix-wallpaper").packages.${builtins.currentSystem}.default.override { preset = "gruvbox-dark"; }'

The resulting wallpaper will be in result/share/wallpapers/nixos-wallpaper.png.

This repository contains a number of pre-set colorschemes, found in data/presets/. Colors specified backgroundColor and logoColors will take priority over colors in a preset.
