What Happened?

When applying a template with /template and during typing something is mistyped and corrected, then after the application of the template a / is placed in a block.

Reproduce the Bug

1. type /template abc (do not use autocomplete, do not press enter)
2. clear the line with backspace except the / ; the autocomplete is still active and now select Template
3. apply any template

(sometimes the template is applied correctly without the extra block)

Expected Behavior

Template is applied without extra block
