  • fix a race condition in the rendering pipeline that causes a crash
  • ensure proper state communication around tabs between workspace and kotlin
  • add the ability to open the workspace panel without opening a file
  • fix state mismatch in tabs on creating documents by centralizing metadata store in idsAndFiles map
  • improve the visual look of the vertical tab sheet
  • remove latency from switching tabs on the tab strip and the tabs appearing on workspace
