The values returned from getBinId could be compressed to require lets bytes per.
Ensure that the binary size for each periodicity is consistent (fixed).
Also, the parsing logic within getStartEpoch will need to be reworked.
These changes will introduce backwards-compatibility issues, so ideally this issue will be lumped into a release with other breaking changes.
